Saurabh Tiwary was one of the most impressive youngsters in Mumbai Indians in the initial years. Hailing from Jharkand and sporting long hair, he was often compared with MS Dhoni. In IPL 2010, the southpaw realized his potential with top knocks in the middle-order. He was then sold for a big amount at the IPL 2011 auctions to RCB. However, the player could not do well for the franchise. He last played for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2022.

2) Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey is one of the players picked up in the U19 draft in 2008 by Mumbai Indians. The Karnataka cricketer was part of the U19 World Cup but did not get too many opportunities to showcase his skills. He was picked by the Mumbai Indians in that draft. In 2008, Manish played three games but could not leave an impression. While he was duck out in his debut game against KKR, he could just make three runs in his second encounter against RR. He did not get a chance to bat in his final game with Mumbai Indians. After that season, Manish moved to RCB, from where he elevated his career.
