IPL started in the year 2008, and at the moment, the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League is underway. Very few players have managed to be a part of all the seasons played so far. Even the ones who played in 2008 and are still playing have seen many ups and downs in their careers.
It is difficult for any cricketer to perform consistently for their franchise in the Indian Premier League. The reason behind it is that the franchises work very hard to assemble some of the strongest bowling lineups in the world for their teams.
Still, some cricketers have managed to play with consistency, and here’s a list of the two cricketers who have recorded at least one half-century in 15 different editions of the Indian Premier League.

1. Shikhar Dhawan has scored a half-century in 15 IPL seasons
Shikhar Dhawan has been one of the underrated match-winners in the Indian Premier League history. The left-handed batter started his career with the Delhi Daredevils before joining Mumbai Indians, Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Capitals and finally Punjab Kings.
Dhawan was a rookie when he made his debut for the Delhi Daredevils in the year 2008. Over the years, he has matured as a cricketer, and he is currently the captain of the Punjab Kings team. Not many fans would know that Dhawan scored a half-century on debut against Rajasthan Royals. Except 2009, he scored a fifty in every season of the league.
2. Virat Kohli
The first batter to achieve the feat of scoring a half-century in 15 different seasons of the IPL was Virat Kohli. He has played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in all the seasons of the league. Kohli did not manage a single half-century in 2008, but RCB did not give up on him, and after that, he smacked a half-century in every season.
