A Hat-trick is a very special achievement for a bowler irrespective of the format of cricket. However, taking a hat-trick in the T20 format is even more special because the bowler only gets to bowl a maximum of 24 deliveries in a T20 match. On top of that, the batters are always in the mood to destroy the opposition bowling lineup in the shortest format of the game.

The organizers tend to keep shorter boundaries and flat pitches for T20 league matches. The best example is the recently-concluded Pakistan Super League season, where teams scored 200+ runs with supreme ease.

It highlights how difficult it is to take a hat-trick in a T20 match, but here’s a list of three such bowlers who managed to take three wickets in three successive balls during a knockout game of a T20 league.
