    1. Sandeep Warrier warmed the benches in IPL 2023

Fast bowler Sandeep Warrier played a solitary T20I for India in the year 2021. Warrier has done well in domestic cricket, but the IPL franchises have not given him too many chances. After remaining unsold at the auction, Warrier joined Mumbai Indians as a replacement for Jasprit Bumrah, but MI did not give him a game.

    2. Karun Nair warmed the benches in IPL 2023

Karun Nair scored a triple century for Team India in Test cricket. He is no longer a regular part of Team India. He also remained unsold at the auction, but Lucknow Super Giants signed him as a replacement for KL Rahul. Nair did not get a game though.

    3. Shivam Mavi

It was surprising to see the Gujarat Titans keep their new fast bowler Shivam Mavi on the bench for the full season. Mavi made his debut against Sri Lanka earlier this year and took four wickets on debut. However, GT preferred Yash Dayal and Darshan Nalkande over the youngster.
