The 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League got underway on March 26 with a blockbuster encounter between Shreyas Iyer’s Kolkata Knight Riders and Ravindra Jadeja’s Chennai Super Kings. 10 matches have happened in the tournament, with the 11th game currently happening in Mumbai. Liam Livingstone smashed the biggest six of the tournament tonight in Mumbai.
The 11th match of the IPL 2022 season features four-time champions Chennai Super Kings and former IPL runners-up Punjab Kings. The CSK captain Ravindra Jadeja won the toss and elected to field first. Punjab Kings lost the wickets of Mayank Agarwal and Bhanuka Rajapaksa early, but Liam Livingstone brought them back into the contest.
Speaking about what happened at the toss first, the Punjab Kings captain Mayank Agarwal informed that his team had two changes in the playing XI. Here’s what he had to say:
“Looks like a nice batting surface. It will be nice to go out there and put up a score and put scoreboard pressure. We play aggressive cricket so we will have off days like that. We do not want to have scoreboard pressure. We have a couple of changes, Vaibhav Arora comes in for Harpreet Brar and Jitesh Sharma comes in for Raj Bawa.”
