The 11th match of the IPL 2022 season features four-time champions Chennai Super Kings and former IPL runners-up Punjab Kings. The CSK captain Ravindra Jadeja won the toss and elected to field first. Punjab Kings lost the wickets of Mayank Agarwal and Bhanuka Rajapaksa early, but Liam Livingstone brought them back into the contest.
