    1. Praveen Kumar did not want to play for IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore

    Former Indian cricketer Praveen Kumar recently disclosed in a chat with The Lallantop that he did not want to play for RCB. However, the then IPL head Lalit Modi threatened to end his career, which is why Kumar signed a paper.

    “I did not want to play for RCB because Bangalore was quite far away from my place, I didn’t know English, and the food was not to my liking. Delhi is quite close to Meerut, which would have allowed me to travel to my home once in a while. However, there was a person who made me sign a paper,” Kumar said.

    2. Yuvraj Singh – Punjab Kings

    Yuvraj Singh was the first captain of the Punjab Kings team. The team management was good initially, but after the results did not go in the team’s favor, the management decided to sign players who Yuvraj did not want. Yuvraj was frustrated. Interestingly, when Yuvraj left Punjab and joined Pune, the franchise signed the players that he had suggested.

    “I wanted to run away from Kings XI Punjab. The management didn’t like me there . They did nothing I asked them to do,” Singh said in an interview.

    Current Indian all-rounder Shardul Thakur played his first IPL match for Punjab Kings in 2016. However, due to a disappointing performance, Shardul was dropped and subsequently sent home midway during the season.
