There are quite a few ageing cricketers in JSK. The management could look at the Chennai Super Kings squad of IPL 2024 to build their next squad for SA20. Of course, all of it would depend on the availability of the players.
1) Daryl Mitchell
Daryl Mitchell would be a worthy fit for JSK. If he is fit and available, Mitchell would add strength to the middle order. The franchise needs someone who can take on spin consistently and the Kiwi cricketer can do that to perfection. Of course, one aspect would be to watch how Daryl performs in IPL 2024.
2) Mitchell Santner could be a target for JSK in SA20 2025
Mitchell Santner is one of the CSK players whom JSK must target for SA20 2025. He has been involved in the Kiwi squad. Hence, he could have been available for JSK. The franchise needs a good spinner to handle the middle overs. While Imran Tahir did a good job, he is old and might not play next season. Hence, someone like Santner must get a chance.
3) Rachin Ravindra
Faf du Plessis playing in SA20 2025 could be a doubt. Hence, the focus will be on who could replace the legendary player. Rachin Ravindra would be a top option for the side. He is young and is someone who can play at various roles in the batting order. He can be used as an opener and he will also give an additional bowling choice.
