    1. David Wiese returned in IPL 2023 after 7 years

    Namibian all-rounder David Wiese returned to the league after the 2016 season. He was a member of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad that participated in the 2015 and 2016 editions of the Indian Premier League. After Bangalore released him, no team signed him in the next six seasons.

    In 2023, the Kolkata Knight Riders signed him. Wiese made his KKR debut recently against the Chennai Super Kings at the Eden Gardens.

    2. Rilee Rossouw returned in IPL 2023 after 8 years

    South African batter Rilee Rossouw played his last IPL season back in the year 2015. Rossouw was a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team that season. The left-handed batter did not earn a contract from 2016 to 2022. Finally, in the year 2023, the Delhi Capitals signed him. He made his debut for DC in the game against the Lucknow Super Giants.

    3. Wayne Parnell

    Another South African star to feature here is Wayne Parnell. He played his last match for Delhi Daredevils in 2014 and then returned to RCB in 2023 after nine years.
