The Pune-based team played its last IPL season back in 2013. It is obvious that a majority of the stars who played for the team have now retired in 2022, but three of them are present in the list of players who are a part of the IPL 2023 Auction. Here’s a list of those three names:

    1. Former Pune Warriors batter Manish Pandey

Manish Pandey was one of the main batters of the Pune team. He played some important knocks for the team during his stint with that franchise. Pandey’s stock has fallen considerably in recent IPL seasons though. After emerging as one of the costliest buys at the IPL 2018 Mega Auction, Pandey did not receive much attention from the teams at the IPL 2022 Mega Auction.

    2. Former Pune Warriors all-rounder Wayne Parnell

South African all-rounder Wayne Parnell is one of the top T20 players in the world. However, the IPL franchises have rarely showed interest in him. Delhi Capitals and Pune are the only two teams that have signed Wayne in the past.

    3. Harpreet Bhatia

Uncapped player Harpreet Bhatia has not achieved much success in the IPL. However, as per his profile for the IPL 2023 Auction, the 31-year-old has been a part of three franchises – Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Pune Warriors.
