Uganda will make its debut in T20 World Cup 2024. The upcoming African cricketing nation stunned heavyweights Zimbabwe in the Qualifiers to make it to USA and West Indies. In case you didn’t know, the team will be led by Brian Masaba, who is an all-rounder. He can bowl both right-arm pace as well as right-arm leg-spin.

India were the inaugural T20 World Cup champions, and there are three cricketers of Indian origin who will play for Uganda in the upcoming edition of the mega event.
1. Alpesh Ramjani will play for Uganda
Born on September 24, 1994, Alpesh Ramjani is an all-rounder of Indian origin. The 29-year-old has the experience of playing 39 T20Is, where he has amassed 569 runs and scalped 70 wickets. He is a left-handed batter and a left-arm spin bowler.
2. Ronak Patel
Another Indian origin player to feature on this list is Ronak Patel. He bats right-handed and bowls left-arm spin. The 35-year-old has represented Uganda in 40 T20I matches, where he has received an opportunity to bat on 37 occasions. In those 37 knocks, he has aggregated 799 runs.
3. Dinesh Nakrani
Dinesh Nakrani came into the limelight when he bowled a majestic spell of 6/7 in a T20I match. The left-arm medium pacer is an all-rounder from Kutch. He even represented Saurashtra in Indian domestic cricket along with Cheteshwar Pujara, but now, he will play in the T20 World Cup for another nation.
