Apart from cities in India, countries like South Africa and the United Arab Emirates have also hosted the league. Interestingly though, there are three such Indian stadiums which have played host to T20I games but have never hosted an IPL match so far.

    The biggest stadium to feature on this list is the Greenfield International Stadium of Thiruvananthapuram. A team from Kerala has only participated once in the lndian Premier League. That team was Kochi Tuskers Kerala, and they played home matches in Kochi and Indore.

    2. Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground is yet to host IPL

    Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground has played host to five ODI matches and six T20Is thus far. It is a small venue with a seating capacity of 8,000 fans. Hence, it seems unlikely that any of the Indian Premier League teams may play their home matches there.

    3. Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Dehradun

    Dehradun’s stadium has a seating capacity of 25,000. It has hosted one Test, five ODIs and six T20Is so far, but the venue is yet to receive the hosting rights of an Indian Premier League match.
