On the other side, the following three Indian stadiums have hosted T20I matches but have never received a chance to host a Test match. The Bharat Ratna Shree Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium of Lucknow has hosted a Test between Afghanistan and West Indies. However, the following three venues have not got a chance to host even a neutral Test thus far.

    1. Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati

Regarded by many as one of the best stadiums in the world, the Barsapara Cricket Stadium of Guwahati has hosted multiple T20Is involving the Indian cricket team. However, the BCCI is yet to give a Test match to this stadium. With the Indian cricket team scheduled to play at least six Test matches at home in the upcoming season, it should not be a surprise if Guwahati becomes a Test venue soon.
