All teams will play around three to five matches in the first 15 days of the competition. Interestingly, Delhi Capitals have decided to play their home matches against Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders in Vizag. Here’s what the IPL press release stated:

Like DC, some other teams may prefer having a neutral venue as well. Here’s a look at three stadiums which can get IPL matches like Vizag.

    1. Pune might get some IPL 2024 matches

Pune’s MCA Stadium has been home to two IPL teams in the past, namely Rising Pune Supergiant and Pune Warriors. However, since 2018, Pune does not have its own team, still the venue has hosted many IPL games. The same could happen in the 2024 season as well.

    2. Cuttack

Cuttack’s Barabati Stadium has also been an IPL host in the past. As per reports, the venue’s capacity will go up to 60,000 soon. DC were reportedly interested in playing home matches in Cuttack, which is why the venue can get some games.

    3. Guwahati

Rajasthan Royals played two of their home matches in Guwahati last year. Considering the capacity of the Barsapara Stadium, the Royals may think of playing a few home matches in the northeast part of the country once again.
