Team India is one of the strongest teams in the history of T20I cricket. The Men in Blue captured the inaugural T20 World Cup title in 2007 and have regularly been a part of the Top 4 of the T20I teams in the rankings as well as in multi-national tournaments.
One of the main things in T20I matches is the batting strike rate. It is fine if a player does not score big, but he should not score slowly. Quick cameos are more appreciated in T20I cricket than a 30-ball 25. Batters aim to have a strike rate of more than 150 in the T20I format.
However, there have been such instances in the Men in Blue’s T20I cricket history, where the batter finished with a strike rate of 400 or more in the game after facing more than one delivery. Here’s a list of those three names.
3. MS Dhoni – India vs. Bangladesh, 2016
The Men in Blue won the 2016 edition of the Asia Cup which happened in the T20I format for the first time ever. Playing under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, the Men in Blue squared off against Bangladesh and registered a 45-run victory.
Dhoni played a cameo of eight runs from two deliveries. He smashed a six and took two runs off the two balls he faced against Bangladesh.
2. Ravi Bishnoi – vs. Pakistan, 2022
Earlier this year, fans witnessed two matches of the Indo-Pak rivalry in Asia Cup 2022. In the second match which happened in the Super Fours round, tailender Ravi Bishnoi scored two fours off two balls and ended with eight runs off two deliveries.
