1. Punjab Kings may retain Arshdeep Singh for IPL 2025 Mega Auction
Arshdeep Singh has been a top performer for the Punjab Kings in the last few seasons. It is rare to find a talented Indian left-arm pacer, who performs consistently. Singh has done the job for PBKS and also has the local connect with the fans.
Thus, PBKS should think of retaining Arshdeep Singh. If they release him into the auction pool, he will be an expensive signing.
2. Kagiso Rabada
PBKS will likely choose one between Sam Curran and Kagiso Rabada for the second position. Rabada may have a slight upper hand here because PBKS may prefer having a right-arm pacer along with a left-arm fast bowler. Plus of course, Curran, being an England player, can withdraw his name from IPL at the last moment.
3. Jitesh Sharma
Jitesh Sharma is one of the top wicketkeeper batters in India right now. If PBKS release him, it will be quite challenging for them to sign him at a fair price. Sharma can be a big-hitter, finisher and also keep the wickets. A player like him can be an asset for the Kings.
