Team India have tried out many players in the last two years. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indian cricket team has played non-stop cricket. Owing to travel restrictions and bio-bubble rules, sometimes two series have overlapped each other, prompting the selectors to send two different squads to two countries for series at the same time.

Some players have received a longer rope, while some have not. In this listicle now, we will look at the three players who played one game for India last year and were dropped.

The selectors sent a ‘B’ team to Sri Lanka last year for three ODIs and three T20Is against the island nation. Shikhar Dhawan captained the team. Current Lucknow Super Giants all-rounder Krishnappa Gowtham played his first ODI on that tour. He scored two runs and took one wicket in that game, but after that, he is yet to don the Indian jersey.
