A lot of talks have been ongoing about the possible retentions that KKR may go for in the upcoming IPL. With the overall purse expanding to INR 120 crore, a couple of retentions will still allow them a leeway of almost INR 90 crore to head to the auction with.
With that being said, two big names which can be doing the rounds for retention include the likes of Mitchell Starc and Rinku Singh.
Mitchell Starc is an absolute sensation when it comes to bowling with the new ball. Despite having a bumpy start to the 2024 IPL, he turned out to be the key player for KKR towards the latter stages and also produced a gem of a performance in the play-offs and the finals as well. Starc has proven it before that he is not just a champion with the ball in his hands but he is also a very handy batter towards the end.
