The first day of IPL 2022 Mega-Auctions has come to an end. While some teams had a good day, other franchises struggled. However, a few teams were able to form a good core on Saturday. In fact, they also have a pretty good playing XI after the first day. In this article, we take a look at three teams that have a decent playing XI after Day 1 of IPL 2022 Mega-Auctions.
1) Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals went after almost every player in the initial stage of the auctions. They could not get many but they managed to put together some smart signings. With this, the team already has a decent XI for the auctions. Of course, they still have a few gaps which they can fill. One will be the lower middle-order, which is looking fragile at the moment.

2) Lucknow Super Giants
LSG had a brilliant day in the auction room. They have a squad that would not be bad to actually play in the tournament. LSG would want to get another Indian pacer, who can be decent with the bat. Some of the U19 stars could help them in this regard.

3) Rajasthan Royals
Although RR still needs a few signings, their XI after Day 1 of IPL 2022 Mega-Auctions seems fine. They have only three foreigners so far and a pace-bowling all-rounder like Odean Smith will be high on their list.
