IPL is the world’s grandest T20 league, and it is the dream of millions of cricketers to become a part of this competition one day. However, not everyone has been able to make it to this league. Quite a few players have made it to the big stage though and earned a lot of money from this competition.
Before the launch of the Indian Premier League, the relations between Indian and foreign cricketers were not the best. However, the things have changed now, and even the cricketers who have had fights in the past played like friends in the same team. Here’s a list of four such pairs of cricketers.
1. Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya, IPL 2022
Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya had a massive fight back when they were a part of the Baroda domestic cricket team. It happened during the team’s practice session, where Krunal allegedly misbehaved with Deepak. The two have sorted out their differences now and play together for the Lucknow Super Giants.
2. Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly, IPL 2023
Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly have had a strained relationship in the last two years. Everyone knows what happened when Ganguly was the BCCI President and Kohli was the Indian team’s captain. Still, both Indian stars were spotted shaking hands after the match between RCB and DC ended yesterday.
3. Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth
Harbhajan Singh allegedly slapped Sreesanth after a match between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings in 2008. Both players have sorted out their issues now and work as commentators together for Star Sports.
4. Jos Buttler and R Ashwin
R Ashwin angered Jos Buttler by dismissing him with a run-out at the non-striker’s end during a game between Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings. Both players now play together as friends for the Royals.
