However, not every player gets an equal opportunity to play at the international level. There are some Indian cricketers who have received more chances than others. Here’s a list of the four unlucky Indian cricketers who can be said to have born in the wrong era.

    1. Sanju Samson

It is rare to see a wicket-keeper batter being kept out of the squad despite his ability to bat at any position, score quick runs and also make a difference with his fielding and keeping. However, such has been the story of wicket-keeper Sanju Samson, who has not earned a place in the India’s World Cup teams despite giving his best in IPL and international cricket.

    2. Sandeep Warrier

Sandeep Warrier made his T20I debut for India against Sri Lanka last year. Despite his good performances in domestic cricket, Warrier did not even receive a contract for the IPL season. He has been one of the unluckiest talents in the nation.

    3. Rahul Tripathi

Rahul Tripathi has been a consistent performer for his IPL teams in the last few seasons. Irrespective of his batting position, he has scored runs for his team. Unfortunately though, despite making it to the Indian squad multiple times, he is yet to make his debut for the Men in Blue.

    4. Sheldon Jackson

Veteran wicket-keeper batter Sheldon Jackson has scored lots of runs in domestic cricket. However, the luck factor has not favored him. Even when he got a chance in the IPL, he could not make it count. Hence, Jackson is yet to play international cricket.
