The BCCI has announced that they will appoint a new selection committee soon. After the T20 World Cup 2022 semifinal defeat against England, Chetan Sharma and co. lost their positions in the selection committee. There is a possibility now that the new selectors will select different players.

1. Will new selection committee give chance to Prithvi Shaw?
Former India U-19 World Cup winning captain Prithvi Shaw was deemed by many as the next Virender Sehwag. Former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri even compared him with Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara. However, the selectors did not give him a single opportunity to play in the year 2022.
2. Rahul Tewatia
Rahul Tewatia has been one of the top finishers in the IPL. He has shown that he can keep calm in tense situations and can win matches out of nowhere. He bowls leg-spin as well. Yet, Tewatia has not made his debut for the team so far.
3. T Natarajan
It is tough to understand why T Natarajan never got a chance to play for India after the home series against England.
