Abu Dhabi T10 League 2023 has started in the Gulf nation. There are right franchises competing against each other in a franchise-based tournament. The names of the eight teams are Bangla Tigers, Chennai Braves, Deccan Gladiators, Delhi Bulls, New York Strikers, Northern Warriors and Samp Army.
These eight teams will compete in a round-robin league round, followed by the playoffs, with one team winning the tournament in the end. The BCCI does not allow active Indian cricketers to play in foreign leagues, but the following four retired names are playing in this tournament.
1. Robin Uthappa is a part of Abu Dhabi T10 League
Former IPL Orange Cap winner Robin Uthappa is a member of the Bangla Tigers squad in Abu Dhabi T10. Uthappa also played in the Zim Afro T10 League, which happened earlier this year.
2. Nav Pabreja
Former IPL player Nav Pabreja has been a regular part of Abu Dhabi T10. He has played for Maratha Arabians before, and now the all-rounder is a part of the Deccan Gladiators team.
3. Abhimanyu Mithun is playing in Abu Dhabi T10 League 2023
Former Indian fast bowler Abhimanyu Mithun has actively participated in foreign leagues of late. He is playing for the Northern Warriors team in T10 League. Mithun won the Man of the Match award last night for his two-wicket haul.
4. Ankur Sangwan
Delhi-born player Ankur Sangwan will make his T10 League debut this year. Sangwan is a part of the Northern Warriors team as well. He is a 26-year-old left-handed batter.
