    1. Sri Lanka record their biggest win in Test cricket, 2023

    Sri Lanka registered their biggest innings win in Test matches today against Ireland. The islanders beat the visitors by an innings and 280 runs at the Galle International Stadium. Sri Lanka scored 591/6 dec. and in reply, Ireland were all out for 143 and 168.

    2. South Africa crush Australia, 2018

    South Africa have been one of the best teams in Tests over the last few years. Back in 2018, when Australia toured them, the Proteas crushed them by 492 runs at Johannesburg. Tim Paine led Australia in that Test after Steve Smith and David Warner’s suspension.

    South Africa scored 488 and 344/6 dec in their two innings. In reply, Australia managed 221 and 119, with Vernon Philander taking nine wickets.

    Last year, New Zealand hosted South Africa for an ICC World Test Championship series, and in the Christchurch Tests, the Kiwis recorded a win by an innings and 276 runs. South Africa were all out for 95 & 111, while the Blackcaps scored 482.

    4. India bulldoze West Indies, 2018

    West Indies toured India for a Test series in 2018. Centuries from Prithvi Shaw, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja helped India score 649/9 in the first innings at Rajkot. R Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav and Jadeja then bamboozled the visitors, bowling them out for 181 and 196 in two innings, winning by an innings and 272 runs.
