1. Sunrisers Hyderabad may release Sean Abbott before IPL 2023
Australian pacer Sean Abbott could not impress much on his SRH debut. Abbott played one match during the season, where he conceded 47 runs at an economy rate of close to 12. SRH have a good pace attack, which is why they can think about releasing Abbott.
2. Romario Shepherd
Hyderabad raised many eyebrows when they all out for Romario Shepherd at the mega auction and signed him for 7.75 crore. Shepherd played three games for SRH, scalping three wickets at an economy rate of 10.88. SRH can increase their purse value by releasing Shepherd.
3. Sunrisers Hyderabad might release Abdul Samad before IPL 2023
It was surprising to see SRH retain Abdul Samad for 4 crore and then bench him for 12 matches in the season. Samad has the potential to make it big but needs more backing. It will be interesting to see if Hyderabad retain him.
4. Fazalhaq Farooqi
With Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umran Malik, Kartik Tyagi and T Natarajan present in the squad, SRH have a solid pace attack. They can release their overseas pacers and think about strengthening the spin department by signing someone like Adam Zampa, Tabraiz Shamsi or Adil Rashid at the next auction.
