    Quite a few franchises have raised concerns about the players withdrawing their names at the last moment, which impacts the overall planning of the team. While some players are forced to miss out due to injuries, the following four players with low salaries gave other reasons to miss IPL 2024.

    1. Adam Zampa pulled out of IPL 2024

    Rajasthan Royals snapped up Adam Zampa for INR 1.5 crore at the auction for the 2023 season. He showed up to play last year, but this year, Zampa pulled out just before the tournament started owing to some personal reasons.

    2. Wanindu Hasaranga pulled out from IPL 2024

    Sri Lankan T20I captain Wanindu Hasaranga also pulled out of IPL. SRH expected him to be available soon after they signed him for INR 1.5 crore, but Hasaranga has a slight injury issue, and he will take time off to be fit for T20 World Cup 2024.

    3. Jason Roy

    England batter Jason Roy has a habit of withdrawing from IPL at the last moment. Roy joined KKR last season but pulled out this year. Luckily for Kolkata, they have found a great replacement in Phil Salt.

    4. Gus Atkinson

    England Cricket Board withdrew some players for workload management. While Sam Curran, with salary of 18.5 crore is playing for Punjab Kings, Gus Atkinson, who had a INR 1 crore contract, did not show up to play for KKR.
