Major League Cricket 2023 began last Thursday evening with a clash between the Texas Super Kings and the Los Angeles Knight Riders. As the names suggest, the two teams are owned by IPL franchises Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals have also invested in this league, with their names being MI New York and Seattle Orcas.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is one of the most-followed franchises in the world. However, RCB team owners have decided against investing in any league outside India. They have invested in BCCI’s Women’s Premier League (WPL), which started earlier this year.

1. Finn Allen is playing in Major League Cricket 2023
Finn Allen is a member of he San Francisco Unicorns team in MLC 2023. He opened the batting for SFOU yesterday in their match against MI New York. Allen scored 10 runs off five balls before losing his wicket to Kagiso Rabada.
2. Faf du Plessis is captain in Major League Cricket 2023
RCB captain Faf du Plessis has continued to represent other Super Kings teams in the world. After leading Joburg Super Kings in SA20, he is now captaining the Texas Super Kings in MLC 2023.
3. Wayne Parnell
Another current Royal Challengers Bangalore star who is playing in the Major League Cricket tournament is Wayne Parnell. The left-arm fast bowler joined RCB as a replacement in IPL 2023. He is playing for the Delhi Capitals co-owned Seattle Orcas in MLC 2023.
4. Wanindu Hasaranga
Sri Lankan leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga is one of the highest-paid players in the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad. Hasaranga has signed up to play for the Washington Freedom team in MLC 2023. However, he will be unavailable for some matches, and Tanveer Sangha has joined Washington as a replacement.
