Men’s Hundred 2022 is underway right now in England, and many talented overseas players are playing in the newest format of the sport. There are eight franchises participating in this competition, namely Northern Superchargers, London Spirit, Southern Brave, Manchester Originals, Trent Rockets, Welsh Fire, Birmingham Phoenix and Oval Invincibles participating in this competition.
Five members from the IPL 2022 squad of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad were initially scheduled to play in the Men’s Hundred 2022. However, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) denied an NOC to Wanindu Hasaranga, and then Tristan Stubbs replaced him in the Manchester Originals squad. But the following four players are a part of the Men’s Hundred 2022.
1. RCB all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is playing in Men’s Hundred 2022
Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell was one of the players retained by RCB ahead of the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. Maxwell is playing for London Spirit in this year’s Hundred season. Big names like Kieron Pollard and Eoin Morgan are also a part of the London Spirit squad.
2. David Willey
English all-rounder David Willey is one of the two Royal Challengers Bangalore players who will play for the Northern Superchargers in Hundred this year. Willey is a left-arm pace-bowling all-rounder who was impressive in the few matches he played for RCB this season.
3. RCB captain Faf du Plessis is playing in Men’s Hundred 2022
Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Faf du Plessis is playing for the Northern Superchargers as well. He was scheduled to play for the same franchise last year as well, but he was ruled out of the competition. Now, he is playing his first season for Northern Superchargers.
4. Finn Allen
New Zealand batter Finn Allen has been with RCB since 2021, but he is yet to make his debut for the franchise. He will play for defending champions Southern Brave in The Hundred.
