Sharma made his ODI debut against the Ireland cricket team in 2007 but did not get a chance to bat in that match. Eight years later, in 2015 World Cup, Sharma scored 64 runs against Ireland and lost his wicket 36 runs short of his century.

    4. UAE

During the 2015 World Cup, Sharma played his first ODI match against the United Arab Emirates. He looked in good touch and scored an unbeaten 57 to help India win. He could have scored a ton if the target was bigger or India batted first.
