Gujarat Titans‘ Afghanistani wicket-keeper batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz got a golden opportunity of meeting former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni last night in Mumbai after the IPL 2022 game between GT and defending champions Chennai Super Kings. While Gurbaz did not play for the Gujarat Titans, he came to the stadium with the team.

It has become a tradition in the IPL now to see young players interacting with the experienced stars and taking tips from them. MS Dhoni has had interactions with many youngsters, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz joined that list yesterday.

Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings had a one-sided game at the Wankhede Stadium, where the Titans won by seven wickets comfortably. Man of the Match Wriddhiman Saha scored a half-century for the Ahmedabad-based franchise, while the bowlers did a fine job to restrict the Chennai Super Kings to 133 in their 20 overs.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz might make his IPL debut against RCB

Gujarat Titans have given multiple opportunities to their Australian wicket-keeper Matthew Wade, but he is yet to prove himself as a match-winner for GT.

With the team already guaranteed to finish first, GT can give Wade some rest and try Rahmanullah Gurbaz in their last match ahead of the Qualifier 1 match. Their last league opponents are Royal Challengers Bangalore.
