Former Pakistani fast bowler Wasim Akram recently shared a New Year’s selfie with his wife Shaniera on Instagram. Unfortunately, the positive moment took a negative turn when a fan posted an inappropriate comment about Shaniera in the comments section.
Akram, visibly upset, responded swiftly, questioning the appropriateness of the comment and expressing his desire to meet the fan’s parents to address the issue.
“You think that’s the appropriate thing to say? I wish to meet your parents and tell them what have they created total douche,” Akram replied to the fan.
This incident follows a pattern for Akram, who previously called out a fan after Pakistan’s loss in the 2022 T20 World Cup final against England.
In that instance, a fan had crossed the line by making derogatory remarks about the injured Shaheen Afridi. Akram, speaking on A Sports, passionately criticized the fan for showing disrespect towards his own player.
