T20 World Cup Final is the biggest game for every player who plays T20I cricket for his country. It is the dream of every professional cricketer to bring his ‘A’ game to the table when playing for his nation in a T20 World Cup Final. Such matches happen only once or twice in a cricketer’s career.
Many fans feel that the T20 format belongs to the batters because they have the license to attack from ball number one. To some extent, the aforementioned claim is true because many batters have played attacking cricket in T20Is. However, there have been some bowlers who have dominated the batters in pressure situations as well.

1. Sreesanth bowled a maiden in T20 World Cup 2007 Final
The first bowler to bowl a maiden in a T20 WC final was India’s Sreesanth. He accomplished the feat against Pakistan’s Younis Khan in the fourth over of the innings. Still, he ended with figures of 1/44.
2. Mohammad Amir, 2009
Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir is the youngest bowler to bowl a maiden in T20 WC Final. He started the final with a maiden, including the wicket of TM Dilshan.
3. Angelo Mathews, 2012
Sri Lankan all-rounder Angelo Mathews also bowled a maiden while playing against West Indies in 2012 T20 WC Final. It was the first over, and like Amir, he took one wicket, which was of Johnson Charles.
4. Samuel Badree bowled a maiden in T20 World Cup 2016 Final
Former West Indies leg-spinner Samuel Badree bowled a maiden against Eoin Morgan and Jos Buttler in the 2016 T20 WC Final. It was the fifth over of the innings.
