Yusuf Pathan had made his international cricket debut at the grand stage of the ICC T20 World Cup final. Pathan became a part of the Rajasthan Royals team in 2008.

He played a pivotal role in RR’s success. Thus, the Kolkata Knight Riders shelled out 9.66 Crores to sign Yusuf Pathan in 2011. Although he went unsold in the IPL 2020 Auction, Pathan has earned 51.48 Crores from the league.

2. Ravichandran Ashwin – 64.89 Crores

Another spin bowling all-rounder to feature on this list is the former Kings XI Punjab captain, Ravichandran Ashwin. The right-arm off-spinner joined the Delhi Capitals before IPL 2020.

He even played for the Chennai Super Kings and the Rising Pune Supergiant in the initial ten seasons. DC paid him 7.6 Crores to play for them in the 13th IPL season. It is pertinent to note that the Chennai-based franchise had signed Ashwin for only 12 lakhs in 2008. The all-rounder impressed so much in his first seasons that his value increased to 3.91 Crores by the 2011 season.

1.Ravindra Jadeja – 70 Crores

Four out of the five names mentioned on this list once played for the Chennai Super Kings in their IPL career. This statistic shows why CSK has been so successful in the IPL. They spend their money on Indian all-rounders and get high returns.

The MS Dhoni-led outfit broke the bank in 2012 to sign Jadeja in the auction. They splurged 9.2 Crores for his services after an intense bidding war with the Deccan Chargers. Jadeja has also represented the Rajasthan Royals, the Kochi Tuskers Kerala, and the Gujarat Lions in the IPL.
