3. Ravi Shastri lost his only game as captain against Pakistan
Former Indian all-rounder Ravi Shastri played one match as captain against the Men in Green. It was an ODI in 1987, which India lost.

MH Mankad captained the Indian team in five Test matches against the neighbors. Interestingly, all five Test matches ended in a draw.
