Although India have won some big series in the last few years, the disappointing thing is they also lost two ICC World Test Championship Finals. Hence, the selectors may soon axe some of the senior players and give opportunities to the younger players. Here’s a list of five Indian cricketers who may never play a Test match again.

    1. One of the experienced Indian cricketers – Cheteshwar Pujara

Reports surfaced online claiming that Cheteshwar Pujara might have played his last Test in WTC Final 2023. Now that the selectors have dropped him for the West Indies tour, it is quite evident that he may never play for India again.

    3. Hardik Pandya

Many fans want Hardik Pandya to make a return to Test cricket. Even Sourav Ganguly asked him to do so. However, Pandya’s fitness issues may not allow him to don the whites for India again.

    4. Umesh Yadav

Another right-arm pacer whom the selectors dropped for the West Indies tour is Umesh Yadav. It is a clear sign of transition of Indian team, which is why Yadav may not be back soon.

    5. Shahbaz Nadeem

Left-arm spinner Shahbaz Nadeem played two Tests for India from 2019 to 2021. The left-arm spinner has been performing well in domestic cricket, but it seems unlikely that the Indian selectors will give him another chance.
