The demand for cricket players has increased across the world recently because of the increase in the number of leagues. Earlier, domestic cricket and international cricket were the primary arenas for the players. However, of late, some cricketers have even prioritized league cricket over international cricket and domestic matches.

One of the most popular tournaments in the world right now is the Abu Dhabi T10 League. The 2021/22 edition of the tournament began on November 19. There are five Indian players, namely Abhimanyu Mithun, Yo Mahesh, Yusuf Pathan, Kaunain Abbas and Munaf Patel will play in the Abu Dhabi T10 League this year, but in this article today, we will look at those five Indian players who might not remember once played in the tournament.

1. Virender Sehwag

Former Indian T20I captain Virender Sehwag was the first Indian cricketer to play in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. He played two matches for Maratha Arabians in the first season but could not score any runs.

2. Subramaniam Badrinath

Former Indian batter Subramaniam Badrinath played for the Maratha Arabians in the 2018 Abu Dhabi T10 League. The right-handed batter only did fielding for the team as he did not get a chance to bat or bowl in three games.

3. Reetinder Singh Sodhi

Former Indian all-rounder Reetinder Singh Sodhi earned a contract from the Kerala Knights in the 2018 Abu Dhabi T10 League. Sodhi played three matches for the team, but he could neither take a single wicket nor score a single run.

4. Praveen Kumar

Former Indian fast bowler Praveen Kumar made his Abu Dhabi T10 League debut in 2018 for the Punjabi Legends team. Kumar played three games and picked up six wickets, but his economy rate was more than ten runs per over.

5. RP Singh

Another former Indian fast bowler to appear on this list is Rudra Pratap Singh. He was an important member of the Indian squad that won the ICC T20 World Cup 2007. After retirement from international cricket, Singh turned up for the Pakhtoons in the 2018 edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League. He played five matches and picked up three wickets at a strike rate of 16.
