    IPL Auction 2023

According to a report by ESPNCricinfo, 21 players have listed their names in the highest base price category for IPL 2023 Auction. While some big names like Ben Stokes, Nicholas Pooran and Sam Curran will earn big deals, it is highly unlikely that franchises will bid INR 2 crore for any of the following five players.

    1. Nathan Coulter-Nile may go unsold in IPL 2023 Auction

Australian pace-bowling all-rounder Nathan Coulter-Nile played for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2022. He had a forgettable outing on RR debut and got injured by the time the match ended. Since he is an injury-prone player, franchises may not bid for him.

    2. Chris Jordan may go unsold in IPL 2023 Auction

Chris Jordan has proven to be a very expensive death-bowling option. He had a disappointing season as a part of Chennai Super Kings last season, which is why teams may not bid INR 2 crore for him.

    3. Tymal Mills may go unsold in IPL 2023 Auction

Another England fast bowler present on this list is Tymal Mills. He flopped while playing for Mumbai Indians last year and is also an injury-prone player.

    4. Angelo Mathews

Sri Lankan all-rounder Angelo Mathews is no longer in top form as he once was. Also, he has not played T20I cricket for Sri Lanka recently. It is surprising to see him in the 2 crore category.

    5. Jamie Overton

England’s bowling all-rounder Jamie Overton has never played in IPL. Also, he is yet to play a white-ball game for England at the senior level. Still, he has listed his base price as 2 crore.
