IPL 2024 Auction is all set to happen in Dubai on December 19, with 10 franchises ready to fill up the 77 vacant slots in their squad. Out of the 77 spots, only a maximum of 30 can be allotted to the foreign players, but a plenty of foreigners have shown interest in the auction.

1. D’Arcy Short might go unsold at IPL 2024 Auction
Australian opener D’Arcy Short has set his base price at 1 crore INR. Short has been away from the IPL for quite some time. The former Rajasthan Royals batter may not find a deal this time as well.
2. Ashton Turner might go unsold at IPL 2024 Auction
Another Australian cricketer to feature on the list is Ashton Turner. The finisher has struggled to play well in recent times, and hence, no team may show interest in him, especially with the base price being 1 crore INR.
3. Martin Guptill
New Zealand opener Martin Guptill has passed his prime. He is currently playing in Legends League Cricket, and it seems highly unlikely that an IPL team will bid for him this time.
4. Adam Milne
Martin Guptill’s compatriot Adam Milne has been a part of teams like MI and CSK in the past. He is extremely talented, but he gets injured often. And for that reason, the IPL teams will think twice before bidding INR 1 crore for him.
5. Kyle Jamieson
All-rounder Kyle Jamieson did not have a great debut season with RCB in 2021. Like Adam Milne, Jamieson gets injured often. Hence, the IPL franchises might not bid INR 1 crore for his services.
