1. LSG should target Lockie Ferguson at IPL 2024 Auction
Lucknow Super Giants have retained one gun pacer in the form of Mark Wood. However, they should sign a backup for him in case he is unavailable. New Zealand’s Lockie Ferguson can be a great choice.
2. LSG should target Gus Atkinson at IPL 2024 Auction
Another gun pacer whom the Lucknow Super Giants can sign at the auction is Gus Atkinson. The England pacer has got the experience of playing in India, having played in ICC World Cup 2023.
3. Josh Inglis
Nicholas Pooran did the finisher’s role to perfection for the Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023. If Justin Langer wants a backup for him, he can consider signing Australian wicketkeeper Josh Inglis, who played in 2023 WC.
4. Dasun Shanaka
LSG have a fantastic all-rounder in the form of Marcus Stoinis. However, if he is out of form or unavailable, LSG can think of roping in Dasun Shanaka as his backup.

Lucknow have traded out Avesh Khan to the Rajasthan Royals. They need a replacement for him. Former Purple Cap winner Harshal Patel can be that player. He can also give batting depth to the team.
