The search for new ODI captain of Australia has started after Aaron Finch announced his retirement from the 50-over format. Top-order batter Steve Smith was the captain of Australia in ODIs from 2015 to 2018. He has led the Aussies in 51 ODIs. Considering his experience as a captain, he could be a good pick.
