    Speaking of India’s performance in Cricket World Cup, the Men in Blue are two-time champions of the mega event, having won the tournament in 1983 and 2011. The World Cup offers a chance to the players to perform well and immortalize themselves. However, not many fans would remember that the following five players also represented India at the grand stage.

    1. Stuart Binny was in India’s 2015 Cricket World Cup squad

    Pace-bowling all-rounder Stuart Binny was a member of the Indian squad in the 2015 WC. He played in the warm-up round but did not get an opportunity to play in the mega event.

    2. Ambati Rayudu was in India’s 2015 Cricket World Cup squad

    Ambati Rayudu was not selected for the mega event in 2019, but he was a part of the squad that played in Australia and New Zealand in 2015. However, like Binny, Rayudu did not get a game.

    Former Indian wicket-keeper batter Parthiv Patel was a member of the squad that participated in the 2003 edition of the mega event. Patel was just 17 years old when he got selected.
