    Taking a wicket at the international level is the dream of all Indian players. Not all Indian players are bowlers, but there have been many instances when the top-order batters and even wicket-keepers have rolled their arm over for the Men in Blue and have been successful in taking a wicket.

    1. One of the most popular Indian players – MS Dhoni

    MS Dhoni is reckoned by many as the best Indian wicket-keeper of all time. He bowled on a few occasions, but only managed to take one wicket. It was the wicket of West Indies player Travis Dowlin in the ICC Champions Trophy 2009.

    2. One of the Indian players who is now commentator – Sanjay Manjrekar

    Former Indian batter Sanjay Manjrekar bowled only eight balls in ODI cricket and took a wicket in those eight deliveries. It was the wicket of Dean Jones in Benson & Hodges World Series 1991.

    3. One of the Indian players who is now commentator – Rohan Gavaskar

    Rohan Gavaskar is the son of former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar. He played 11 ODIs for India and took the wicket of Andrew Symonds caught and bowled in VB Series 2004.

    4. Syed Kirmani

    Syed Kirmani was a wicket-keeper batter as well. He was a part of the 1983 World Cup winning team. Kirmani took one wicket in 137 matches, which came in a Test against Pakistan. It was of Azeem Hafeez.

    5. Sreenath Aravind

    Former Indian fast bowler Sreenath Aravind played only one T20I for India which was against South Africa in 2015. He dismissed Faf du Plessis in that game but was never picked in the Indian playing XI again.
