Nepal Premier League 2024 season is currently underway in Nepal. The Nepalese team made history by playing in the ICC T20 World Cup earlier this year. The craze for cricket in Nepal is growing every day, and to ensure that the audience has its own T20 tournament, the NPL was launched.
Like the other T20 leagues, a majority of the cricketers in this tournament are from the home country only. Nepalese cricketers are now getting a chance to play with the international stars. 1. Ben Cutting is playing in Nepal Premier League 2024
IPL 2016 Final’s Man of the Match award winner Ben Cutting is one of the international stars in the NPL tournament. Cutting is a part of the Lumbini Lions team, playing under the captaincy of Rohit Paudel.
2. Martin Guptill is playing in Nepal Premier League 2024
Just a few weeks after entertaining the Indian fans in Legends League Cricket, Martin Guptill has taken a flight to Nepal for NPL 2024. The former New Zealand opener is playing for the Biratnagar Kings team.
3. Ravi Bopara
Former England all-rounder Ravi Bopara is surprisingly still active in cricket. Bopara participates in the T20 leagues, and his latest experience is in the ongoing NPL, where he is playing for the Chitwan Rhinos.
4. Shikhar Dhawan
Former Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan is one of the biggest names participating in the NPL 2024 tournament. The left-handed batter is a part of the Karnali Yaks. He has already hit one half-century for his NPL team.
5. Chadwick Walton
West Indies’ hard-hitting wicketkeeper batter Chadwick Walton is also a part of the NPL tournament. He is teammates with Shikhar Dhawan at Karnali Yaks, and both players are playing under the captaincy of Sompal Kami.
