The 2022 edition of the Pakistan Super League is currently underway. 11 matches of PSL 2022 have already ended, and fans have enjoyed the live action from Pakistan. The 11th match of the competition happened last night between the Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi. It was a battle between the teams of Wahab Riaz and Babar Azam.
Despite a 90-run knock from captain Babar, the Karachi Kings lost the match by 9 runs. Talking about the details of the match, the Kings won the toss and elected to field first. A 28-ball 52* from veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik powered Peshawar Zalmi to a score of 173/4 in their 20 overs. Hazratullah Zazai gave a perfect start to the team with a 27-ball 41.
Umaid Asif was the best bowler for the Karachi Kings as he took three wickets in his four overs. Aamer Yamin scalped one wicket as well. However, the other bowlers remained wicketless. Mohammad Nabi bowled three economical overs, where he conceded only 15 runs.
Ben Cutting scored 24 runs off 22 deliveries for Peshawar Zalmi. He smashed a six during his innings, but during his innings, there was a bizarre incident. Nabi bowled a flatter delivery, which looked like it hit the stumps. However, it was not that way. The bails came off due to the wicket-keeper’s glove.
