Chennai Super Kings signed him and allowed him to bat in the top order. Rayudu has played 34 innings for CSK, aggregating 955 runs at a terrific average of 35.37. He also registered his maiden IPL hundred while playing for CSK.

3.Ashish Nehra

Former Indian fast bowler Ashish Nehra’s career had almost ended before he joined Chennai Super Kings. Nehra became a part of CSK and his brilliant performances helped him return to the Indian T20I team.

The left-arm quick bowler played for Mumbai Indians, Delhi Daredevils, and Pune Warriors India. Subsequently, he played for CSK and picked up 30 wickets in just 20 matches at an economy rate of 7.68.

4.Pawan Negi

Current Royal Challengers Bangalore player Pawan Negi was signed by Delhi Daredevils in the IPL 2012 season. He played a couple of seasons for Delhi, but was released soon.

Chennai Super Kings signed him in 2014 and transformed him into a match winner. Negi scored 116 runs at a strike rate of 158.90 in 12 matches for Chennai. Also, he scalped six wickets for the franchise. With this performance, he broke into the Indian team.

5.Shane Watson

Shane Watson had made a name for himself with his brilliant performances for Rajasthan Royals. Even in 2016, he picked up 20 wickets for RCB.

However, in the 2017 season, Watson could score only 71 runs and five wickets. RCB released him and he landed in CSK. In the last three years, Watson has scored 1088 runs for CSK, including two hundreds and SIX fifties.
