Over the last 15 years, a total of five players from South Africa have got the honor of being an IPL team captain. Here’s a list of those five cricketers.

    1. Aiden Markram will captain SRH in IPL 2023

    The most recent entry on this list is Aiden Markram. The SunRisers Hyderabad named him as their captain for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. Markram will make his captaincy debut in the league.

    2. JP Duminy captained DD in IPL 2015 and 2016

    Former South African all-rounder JP Duminy represented multiple franchises in his career. Only one of them, namely Delhi Daredevils assigned him the team’s reins in 2015 and 2016.
