Teams prefer to keep a high scoring rate in the shorter format. Thus, a player who can hit the ball out of the park regularly is certain to be in high demand in the IPL. Generally, overseas players get massive deals in the IPL owing to their ability to hit the ball hard. The likes of Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Jason Holder, Chris Gayle, and others have established themselves as big-hitters in the IPL. Since there are seven Indian players in the playing XI, the franchises aim to have an Indian star who can slam maximums regularly.

This article features the list of the five uncapped batsmen who have hit the most sixes in the Indian Premier League.
