The former Pakistan cricketer, Shahid Afridi is one of the most destructive batsmen of all time in the history of cricket. Shahid Afridi married his maternal cousin, Nadia Afridi. But, it was not a love arrangement. The marriage happened under the strict order of Shahid Afridi’s father. The couple now has five children.
3.Mosaddek Hossain got married to his cousin at 16
While marrying each other’s cousin is allowed in Bangladesh, Mosaddek Hossain raised a few eyebrows by doing so at the age of 16. Sharmin Samira Usha, his cousin entered into a relationship with him but the couple grabbed the headlines for all wrong reasons a few years ago. Samira had alleged that Mosaddek demanded a dowry of 1 million takas. There was no official decision made in this case. However, Mosaddek has continued to play for Bangladesh.
