1) Matthew Wade – Gujarat Titans

Matthew Wade is one of the players who will make a comeback in IPL 2022 after four years or more. In fact, it is after a decade that the Australian wicket-keeper is back in IPL. In the final moments of the auction, Gujarat was in search of a wicket-keeper. Hence, they hired the player, who played a match-winning cameo in the semis of the 2021 T20 World Cup. One of Wade or David Miller will surely feature in the playing XI for the Titans.

2) Rishi Dhawan – Punjab Kings

The player was part of KKR in IPL 2017

Rishi Dhawan is also one of the players who will make a comeback in IPL 2022 after four years or more. The all-rounder has done well in the recent domestic competitions. With two more teams entering the fray, it was expected that he would earn a bid. In fact, Rishi could also play for Punjab Kings in the first starting XI.

3) Tymal Mills – Mumbai Indians

Despite the high price, Tymal Mills could not do well for RCB in IPL 2017. However, he is back to form now and will take Trent Boult’s place in Mumbai Indians. 4) Rovman Powell – Delhi Capitals

Rovman Powell has previously been part of IPL and he will play the tournament again in 2022. Going by the team combination of DC, the West Indian is set to play all the games for the franchise.

5) Sean Abbott – Sunrisers Hyderabad

The player was part of RCB in IPL 2015

Sean Abbott has played IPL in the past. He is also making a comeback after a long time. The consistent performances at BBL have earned him a bid. Abbott could play a few games for SRH next season.
