Indian cricketers have a massive fan following across the world. They have made a name for themselves with their excellent performances on the field. Quite a few players who won the 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy for India have now retired.

1. One of the popular Indian cricketers – Sachin Tendulkar
Sachin Tendulkar has a stand named after him at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. It was the venue where Sachin won his first World Cup and also played his last Test match. Wankhede Stadium is the home of Sachin’s only IPL team – Mumbai Indians.
2. One of the popular Indian cricketers – Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj Singh played an integral role in India’s 2011 World Cup and 2007 T20 World Cup championship wins. Singh has now got a stand to his name at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.
3. One of the popular Indian cricketers – Harbhajan Singh
Another member of India’s 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 World Cup teams to feature on the list is Harbhajan Singh. The Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) have decided to honor him by naming a stand at the IS Bindra Stadium after him.
4. Virender Sehwag
Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag also played for the Men in Blue in the 2007 and 2011 World Cups. He has got a gate named after him at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
5. Virat Kohli
Current Indian batter Virat Kohli has got a pavilion named after him at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Kohli is one of the few active cricketers to have accomplished this feat.
6. MS Dhoni
Former Indian captain MS Dhoni also has a pavilion to his name at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi. It is hometown and the place where he played his last international game in India.
