Legends League T20 2022 is all set to happen in September and October this year. For the first time, LLC T20 will happen in India. So far, the tournament organizers have announced a list of 50 legends for this tournament. Big names like Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh, Sourav Ganguly, Jacques Kallis, Misbah-ul-Haq, Jonty Rhodes and others will play in this year’s LLC T20.
While the players mentioned above are more than 40 years old, some players who are below 40 are also participating in the tournament. Here’s a list of seven such players.
1. Mitchell McClenaghan will play in Legends League T20
Former Mumbai Indians star Mitchell McCelnaghan will return to action in the upcoming LLC T20. The 36-year-old speedster is a left-arm pacer who is known to be a wicket-taker.
2. Chris Mpofu will play in Legends League T20
Another 36-year-old fast bowler to participate in LLC T20 is Chris Mpofu. The former Zimbabwean pacer achieved much success during his international career.
3. Dhammika Prasad will play in Legends League T20
Former Sri Lankan fast bowler Dhammika Prasad will also feature in this year’s LLC T20. The right-arm pacer is 39 years old.
4. Naman Ojha
Former Indian wicket-keeper batter Naman Ojha scored a hundred in last year’s LLC T20. Ojha is 39 years old and will play his second season of LLC.
5. Irfan Pathan
Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan played for the India Maharajas in the inaugural LLC tournament. The 37-year-old has made himself available for this year’s competition as well.
6. Yusuf Pathan
Irfan Pathan’s elder brother Yusuf Pathan is 39 years old. The former Indian all-rounder was one of the first players to announce his arrival in the Legends tournament.
7. Ravi Bopara
Former England all-rounder Ravi Bopara will make his LLC T20 debut in 2022. The former SRH player is 37 years old.
